Today we drove to central Pennsylvania...Elizabethtown, PA...for the
Brittany's Hope
Walk of Love
"Brittany's Hope Foundation believes in the fundamental right of all children to have the security and love of a family. Their foundation was created with the hope of building a bridge to unite special waiting children and families who wish to adopt a child but are burdened by the substantial cost associated with adopting a child internationally. They raise funds and work with adoption agencies to lower the cost of adopting special needs children."
Brittany's Hope provided us with a generous adoption grant in double the amount of the funds we raised at our events:
We had an Elvis Dinner Show
an Applebee's Flapjack Breakfast
BINGO
and
a Chinese New Year Beef & Beer
We continue to be supported by this amazing foundation even now that we are home with the girls. Their wonderful staff have sent get well cards and notes of encouragement during Audra's hospitalization as well as a birthday card to Charlotte.
We look forward to continuing to support their mission in the years to come, so that more children just like Audra and Charlotte, can finally join their forever families.
