Smart: she can dress herself, put her shoes on, feed herself and would use the bathroom by herself if we had a squatty potty! (once I found her in the bathroom, pants down, squatting and peeing!) The western style toilet in the hotel is something she has probably never seen before. I have to hold her on it otherwise she would fall right in! She is imitating everything we do. Sean has taught her "high-five" and she is trying so hard to learn "thumbs up". She is starting to get some of the sign language we are teaching her...eat, please, sleep, more. She seems to understand most of what we tell her, by studying our tone and gestures.
Sweet: she is a cuddle bug and has already learned to blow kisses. She always wants to be right near me, my little shadow! She is very friendly...everywhere we go she waves to everyone as if she is the welcoming committee.
Silly: she has the best giggle ever, it cracks us up! It is such a big belly laugh from such a tiny little thing! And it is so easy to make her smile and laugh. She knows when she is acting silly...she will roll her eyes and then close them for a bit before peeking to see if we are looking.

While it is difficult for us to reply to each and every message please know that we have read each and every one over...and over. They are helping us get through this long journey so far away from home. We are so grateful for such amazingly supportive family and friends! We couldn't ask for anything more.
