"An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place or circumstances. The thread may stretch or tangle but will never break."

A day full of Mickey

Today was our first day at Magic Kingdom!  My most favorite Disney park.  It is so magical there.  Even if you are just walking around...you can't NOT be happy :)

A rare and decent picture of all 4 kiddos together:

I just love personalized matching outfits, and Etsy makes it too easy.
(you may see a theme as the week goes on!)

The rest of us wore matching Disney Family Tree shirts:
Audra love, love, LOVED the Carousel:

and the Teacups!
Maura has a wickedly powerful spinning technique...

Riley trying to get The Sword out of the Stone:

We had dinner at Chef Mickey's...
a character greeting heaven for most, but NOT Audra.
I love this picture...she is not happy about the characters she has seen on the other side of the room,
what she doesn't know is that Minnie is coming up behind her back...

Peek-a-boo

She was not amused by Minnie:

The other girls couldn't get enough of the characters!

After dinner we went back to Magic Kingdom.  Just as we entered the park I caught sight of Aurora hidden to the left of the entrance at a secluded character greeting spot...with no line!  Maura and Charlotte enjoyed their time with Aurora, and then the Princess gestured towards Audra is her stroller.  I politely told her that she was frightened of characters...but Aurora would not hear it.  She walked over to Audra with Maura and Charlotte, knelt down and talked gently to her.  Audra didn't hide her face like usual.  And when Aurora put her hand out, Audra took her hand, got out of her stroller and walked up to the picture spot with her.  Audra stood there, held Aurora's hand and then even hugged her.  And we have the pictures to prove it!  As soon as I download them from our Photopass I will post them here.  I caught it on video too, with shaking hands, and tear filled eyes.  What a special moment.

Hopefully we'll have this kind of luck with the other Princesses this week.
