Fun at school

The end of the school year seems to be dragging on...
I'm not sure how much learning is happening anymore,
everyday seems to bring a new activity, celebration, field trip, etc.

Honors Ceremony
Riley achieved Distinguished Honor Roll through all of middle school.
So proud of him!

Race for Education
A huge fundraiser for the elementary school
Maura and her bestest friend ever...

Field Day
The 5th grade orchestra members played the national anthem before the games began,
Aidan's been waiting for this "honor" since starting orchestra in 3rd grade.

Aidan doing the "Over/Under" obstacle course

He LOVES to jumprope...

Maura had a perfect "egg on a spoon" walk:

Always a favorite: the parachute!

Field Day is not complete without Tug-O-War

Ending the very hot day with a water balloon toss...

8th Grade Dance
Riley absolutely loves the school dances.  This one was just for the 8th graders, dinner was provided too!  He was so excited that he was allowed to be the guest DJ!

Talent Show
Two violas, a violin and a clarinet.
This was the third year that Aidan and three of his friends played together in the talent show.
They made matching shirts with a picture of their group on the front and their hand prints on the back.

5th grade Pizza Party
Aidan leaving his mark on elementary school.
The school's hallways are filled with the hand prints of all the "graduating" 5th graders from over the years.

And there were many more events that I did not capture in picture:
Field Trips
Safety Patrol celebration
Visits to Middle School
Visits to High School

then finally...the LAST day!!!
The last of school this year was the last time I will put 2 kids on the same bus.
Next year it will be 4 kids in 4 different school?!

Maura's last time getting on the bus as a 1st grader...

and last time getting off the bus as a 1st grader...

HOORAY for summer!!
Looking forward to later bedtimes,
sleeping in,
no homework,
no packing lunches,
 lazy days at the park,
 and the pool!
